M6 prices plummet in the UK!!! (archive)

Just been looking up the Autotrader on the net here in the UK. Thought I'd look at M6's out of interest.
There were 7 cars for sale and all except one were under
£5000! Was just about to phone my friend who bought a pretty average one a year and a half ago for £9000 to tell him the bad news - then I looked up the prices that my car are going for (M535i)- JESUS !! - loads under £2000! What a sickener!
What's going on here?!
