: I am an avid E30 owner who sleeps with the "Bentley 3 series" manual. Is there a single equivalent manual for the 6 series? If not, can you recommend an essential reading list? Thank you.

Chilton publishes a manual entitled "BMW Coupes & Sedans 1970-1988", #8789 which contains much useful information. The one I have was published in 1996. It is probably not the "one answer", but might be helpful if still available. Chilton Books is located in Radnor, PA
