Replacing window seals (archive)

Has anyone had experience replacing the rubber window/door seals (gaskets) for the 6 series. I ahve heard thet the parts are expensive. Also heard thet they are a bear to install. I heve annoying wind whistling and these seals appear to have compressed to the point that wind enters around windows. Any help would be appreciated.
