635 Engine miss at speed?? (archive)

I just experienced a wierd problem taking the car out this weekend. Driving along just fine when all of a sudden, a quick sputter as if all power was lost for an instant. Did not reoccur until tonite while accelerating in 2nd gear. A brief, BLAH!!, and then it kept on running. I did not notice any lights go out as I was driving in the night, just seemed to be ignition. Anyone have any thoughts???
