: Has anyone had experience replacing the rubber window/door seals (gaskets) for the 6 series. I ahve heard thet the parts are expensive. Also heard thet they are a bear to install. I heve annoying wind whistling and these seals appear to have compressed to the point that wind enters around windows. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you ABSOLUTEY SURE that the noise is from the windows?

On mine, I thought it was the windows making the whistle (though the seal appeared to make full contact to the door glass), but by cracking the sunroof just a tad (the slightest movement up or back) the noise went away. I plan to replace the seal there (though it looks good and appears visually to seal), but for now just crack it (doesn't even look open from outside).

There is a lot of incoming ventilation air that tries to escape and will take the noisest way out!
