Having problems with my on-board computer. Date & time info can be set, stop watch & security code features are working, but the outside temp, range on remaining fuel, average speed & fuel consumption features display PPPP or AAAA. I've disconnected the battery for more than 24hrs, checked fuses, and have tried to reset the OBC by pressing CODE then holding the changeover contact until display flashes (with the key in position 1). Nothing seems to work. Previous owner said he lost these features, along with the backlight to the radio display when changing the battery. Mechanic said it needs to be replaced. This seems to be the place to find answers.

Your advice is greatly appreciated.
