I invite anyone with an interest in the 6 Series coupes, to
pay a visit to the BCG at .
It is necessary to join the groupe, before you can post to
it. There are many of us with expertise in various facets
of maintaining and repairing these coupes. We have the
benefit of a few independent BMW garage owners/operators
who are active participants in the groupe; also a regular
contributor who is an employee of BMW AG in Munich. One of
our overseas members maintains an archive comprising every
message ever posted to the group; 14,000 + entries, with
an excellent search vehicle. Visit the above site, click
on the E24 FAQ, and scroll down to the third paragraph,
and follow the instructions for joining up. I recommend
receiving the posts in individual post format. Pay us a
