: I have a 1985CSi. I replaced all the unlighted switches with lighted switched and realized the sunroof switch is powered all the time....even when the ignition is off. The manual indicates it is to powered only when the ignition is on. Anybody else has this situation. What is the solution? Will the lighted switch run the battery down?
: How do I remove the instrument pod. I want to dismantle it an clean the inside.

I would not "clean" the inside of the instrument pod it is covered in as very fine almost like velvet mateial that you can rub off. If you still want to proceed 1.remove the plastic panel that covers your check light panel.there are some phillips head screws behind that 2.on the right side of the cluster is a weird shaped long vertical panel that sticks up a bit from the rest of the cluster, remove it and there are 2 more screws behind it. 3.remove the lower kick panel above you pedals, remove the steering colum bolts that hold it up to the body. with the steering colum out of your way the cluster should slide right out pay close attention to where your wires are attached and what bulbs go where because you dont want to do this twice.
