635 Engine miss at speed??(More Info) (archive)

I posted a problem I had a few weeks ago on my '87 635csi and I now have some more insight into the conditions under which it occurs.
The miss seems to be related to hard acceleration. I have been able to duplicate the condition by really accelerating thru the gears. All goes good and then,WHAM! a complete cutout for a few seconds and then back to running normal. Always seems to happen on warm engine. I have checked items from previous replies and all is OK.
Anybody have any ideas?????
