'87 635csi Fuel pressure#'s (archive)

Can anyone out there tell me the correct fuel pressure reading for a '87 635csi??
I just installed an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and need to set it up correctly. My manuals have some conflicting #'s in them concerning the pressure at idle.
Should I take readings with vacuum line attatched or off or both??
I am currently set at 44#, at idle, with line attatched.
What is the nominal reading to run with??
