They actually have different engines (M88 vs. S38). In addition, the M635 has headers, while the M6 has a manifold. The M635csi has 30 more hp, is around 250 lbs. lighter (no self-leveling rear, among other things) and about a second quicker to 60 than the M6. I would call all these significant differences.
