For some reason, my dad thinks that the engine in my 86 635 with only 95k mi is not going to last me when i go to college. He suggests buying a rebuilt engine, which he claims can be done for only $2700. Is that a fairly low price. I think that it is. But i've heard these engines to last 200,000+ miles w/o problems.
