My love for the BMW E24 has prompted a new company, Caldo Racing! Myself, and my friends, (five of them own E24 6 series), were fed-up with the limited availability, HIGH COSTS, and poor quality of many products available for the 635, 633, and M6/M635csi.
Upon attempting to restore our interiors, we found that the only affordable options included far-eastern products, or used parts, not guaranteed to fit, OR MATCH. Two new door skins from Caldo Racing are cheaper than 1 from a parts dealer! Therefore, both of your doors will match for the price of repairing one. All products come with easy to understand instructions, and all interior products are avail. in leather, vinyl, or cloth.
COMING SOON! New, race-bred suspensions for the 6 series that rival all others on the market, at less cost!
We have also begun looking into a revamped tail light config, based on the e32, much sleeker and up-to-date! This product should cost far less than Bav. Auto's BMW-manufactured ones (Bav's sell for +$375us/$450 euro). I have them on my "Virtual 6 testbed" right now! PICS SOON! Special Euro-spec models will also be available!
How would you like a SUBWOOFER made JUST FOR a 6 car? My previous work in car stereo competitions (1987 L6 in 1995 World Car Audio Championship, USAC, Houston,Tx), has led to the development of two different subwoofer designs SPECIFICALLY for the 6 series! One is "mild" the other WILD. If properly installed, our basic unit can be removed without damaging the vehicle's sheet metal!
Wondering how to fit a speaker in those 4X6 kick panels? Our custom panels fit a 6" or a 5.25 and tweeter, and come in leather or fabric, as well as carpet. (NOTE: these panels will not work in manual trans. 6 cars, as the foot rest is obstructed... we are working a model for M6 owners!)
