I'm not positive about the earlier engines, but I know the later ones have two sending units on the bell housing that read from pins on the outer edge of the flywheel. If these sending units are disabled (for example, if the pins on the flywheel are broken off) the car will not run. Also, I believe the same problem results if they are inadvertently reversed. Since you have obviously been working in that area when replacing the clutch, I would start looking there.

: HELP
: I JUST COMPLETED A CLUTCH R&R ON MY 79 EURO 635 AND ENGINE WILL NOT START.FUEL PUMP IS OPERATING,AND FUEL IS AT THE FUEL MANIFOLD HOWEVER NO FUEL IS ENTERING VIA FUEL INJECTORS OR COLD START VALVE&IT WILL OPERATE W/ STARTING FLUID.PS THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN SITTING SOME TIME.ANY INPUT WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

: THX JUDD
