I just wanted to let you all know about my success in restoring my leather seats in my '85 M635 Euro. The seats had no rips or tears but were faded like an old bomber jacket. Areas were stiff as well. After looking around, I found a web site leaterique.com. I just finished dying the seats and they look like new. The materials were $135 and were simply amazing. After applying the rejuvinator oil I just about decided not to dye the seats because they looked and felt so good. Then I dyed the shifter boot and it was easy and looked even better yet. That convinced me to do the rest of the leather. This is great stuff if your leather needs help like mine did. They even have a discount for BMWCCA members.
