: My fuel Gauge on my 82 633 does not work correctly. It does not go all the way to full when its full, and reads about 3/8ths when empty. Every once in a while when it is close to empty and I first turn on the key it will show the correct reading. Then it will snap back to 3/8ths.

: Any Ideas?

Mine does the same thing... have you tried wacking the console? When I do that to mine, the guage snaps back to normal... which leads me to believe that it is a grounding problem behind the console.
