The headers really are amazing. I read something somewhere about how complicated the process of designing them was, and how the M division considers them a high point in their design history. Interesting.
On a side note, does anyone with an M635 put octane booster in their gas? I've noticed that the manual calls for an octane rating that you can't get in the states. Even with 94 I sometimes get pinging, and given how deep in the engine the chambers are if I can hear it it must be really bad. I've taken to adding booster and the change in performance has been noticable. However, I've heard that adding booster can lead to deposits. Anyone know anything more on this subject?

: Just purchased a M635, blk/blk been babied by original owner/importer incredible factory original car. The euro headers alone are a marvel to look at, (like a snake pit) and the "non-accessory laden' clean interior and lighter weight are a plus. The e24 board was helpful in researching this purchase thanks!
