: A much better setup are e31 brakes, and they will fit under 16" wheels (you may have to experiment with offset). The less expensive way to go are the earlier "floating" calipers used from 91-93. The better setup is the aluminum/four piston calipers from the later cars. These are sourced from Brembo by BMW and you must use the corresponding rotor to the caliper-different rotor offsets between early and late.
: We commonly used these upgrades on drivers school m6s for fade-free brakes. BTW these are about 10mm larger in diameter and thicker than the 7er parts.
