83 633 conversions, performance, etc... (archive)

Just a thanks to the group for being an invaluable resource in researching my new purchase: a beautiful Arizona 1983 633csi. I was hooked from 1st gear, and to think I was going to buy a jeep! Anyway, I wanted to field a question to the group, which is does anyone have experience with adding front spoilers to these US versions (which I believe may have different bumpers than their overseas counterparts, and later models.) and does anyone have +/- experience with K&N high flow air filter systems? I'd like to keep her pretty close to stock, but I'm open to input about any other performance modifications anyone may like to share their experience with too. Thanks again, Chris
