engine oscillation HELP! (archive)

Hello, I recently purchased a euro m6, and it is STRONG. I have a problem, however. Upon starting the car, it idles fine when cold. After 30 seconds or so, it goes into a "vrum vrum vrum vrum" oscillation. I also notice this when I let off of the gas at speed, and the engine is not "under load." Give it a bit o' gas, and it is smooth again. This is troublesome when coasting at 45 in traffic, as I must give it gas to smooth it out, and then I go too fast! Any help will be appreciated.
