It sounds more like the DMV is punishing us for passing I695.

I guess it wont be that long before these things become "antique" anyway and pass out of regulatory guidelines. (I think WA is 20 years?)

It makes sense though, i bet they would be eliminating maybe 200 smog-belching, legally imported cars state-wide. A worthy price.

To hell with them, I'll keep my euro spec car plated at my georgia address...
