: Came back from Florida, and the car ran great for a week. Lots of short trips, and the car wouldn't start this morning. I pulled the plugs, and they were pretty fouled, so I cleaned them, but it still wouldn't catch. The plugs, thermo-time switch, cold start valve were all replaced 1000 miles ago. I plan on getting new plugs tommorow, as this has been a recurring problem. Anybody have any advice?
Some basic trouble shooting is in order starting with the age and the age old question, "Is it spark or fuel a problem?"
#1) Verify the presence (or absence) of a good spark at the number one cylinder. Once you have that info. you are on your way
