A good body shop removes not only all trim, but emblems as well. In fact, it would be harder to paint around the emblem than to pop it off! All that is holding it in place is a bit of 2 side tape, anyway!!! If you had a repaint, and they did not remove trim/emblems/etc, you got jipped...
