I'm considering buying an 88 635csi with 100K miles from a Michigan dealer. Common sense tells me that cars in this state are exposed to road treatment (salt & sand) most of the year, speeding up the rusting factor. The price is right but how concerned should I be about rust on this car? Should I be turning my back on this deal and concentrating on southern cars? Any feedback on this issue,
especially from people living in this area, is highly appreciated.
