Can anyone confirm how the thiefproofing system works on a euro M6? It's separate from the OBC alarm code. I think it may be activated by turning the key in the driver's door all the way to the right.

I used the key to lock it one day and then used the aftermarket wireless remote to open it and the horn went off and no spark until I used the key in the lock again.
