I have a "new" 86csi auto w/ 120,000 that brakes very smooth during normal braking. If though, you must add agerssive pressure during normal braking the brakes get very mushy and almost go away unless you rapidally pump. It comes right back though and does not bleed away during full braking at a stop. Feels like amaster cylinder then again I'm just learning about the car and I'm only hoping there may be a alternate possibility.
