Call BMW/NA, not necessary. Just read pages 188,191, and don't forget page 203 in the 6 Series Companion. It tells you on pg. 203 and I quote "Rebadged L6 for US market. Manufatured to 1989 but sold up to 1990-91 in limited numbers." Hey, you can check the car out at O'fest 2000. Maybe then with BMW reps, experts, 6 owners, and other knowledgable people we can figure this out. I'll show the manual, the badge on the inside of the door, heck we'll even run the vin number for ya. By the way, my car is an automatic. If you don't have the book, I highly recommend you get it.
