: : I was wondering where everyone buys there gas?

: : I use Amoco/Texaco whenever I can, but there is a noticable difference when I must stray... I would be interested in all of your opinions...

: I agree. Amoco is my first choice. I used to use Shell, but I noticed my car ran poorly on it. Mobil is my second choice. Use the highest octane at all times.

I agree on Amoco and Mobil, but strongly disagree on the "use the highest octane" part. You should in fact use the LOWEST octane that your car needs; anything else is a waste of money with no added performance. You will get worse gas mileage with higher octane gas, since the octane rating is a measure of gas' anti-knock additive. It is not a "power rating." If your car has an aftermarket chip, or is knocking under load, you need higher octane gas. Otherwise, stick with what the manual recommends.
