Why not buy a synthetic BMW? (Acura, perhaps?)

According to ALL the bimmer guys I talked to, they'd NEVER touch their car with synth's. The car was not designed for such an "oil," and I will continue to use real oil in my 85 M6, and in my 750. Newer vehicles, which were designed for such products, can use them. I see NO advantages to synthetic oil in an older car...
