: An old trick is to radically retard the spark (move closer to TDC)to the point where it will barely run. With the timing so far retarded, when the spark plug fires, the exhaust valve is beginning to open. The result is super clean emissions, but no power. Reset the timing and you're good for another two years. This trick will not work however, if you are failing due to excessive hdyrocarbons (unburned fuel).

pour into gas tank with about 3 to 4 gallons left.
I passed with 0.0 and all others very low. Check air filter as well. If idle is not steady at 2100 to 2500 rpm remove the O2 senor and pull out your oil dipstick a bit, this will lower your rpms.O2 replacment will cure this. ....83 528e
