: : I am planning to import a 87 635csi BMW from Canada and is wondering what is involved. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks, this a great site used info to fix My 88 735i

: --------------------------------------------
: Is it a US spec car or a Euro car?

: That would make a BIG difference.

: I don't know if the non-Euro cars were also US legal or not. Does it have any BMWNA stickers or DOT/EPA compliance stickers under the hood or on the door posts?

: Bob

Check here for the nhtsa rules governing importation from Canada. It looks like it will cost you some $$, especially if it is a grey market car.
