They sell the popular Jim Conforti chip which is definitely available for your car (as your car uses the same engine as the 535i). I have no personal experience with Turner Motorsports nor do I have experience with the Conforti chip, but I have read mostly favorable reviews. I think the posted gains are +24HP and +30lb/ft Torque.

Keep in mind that your car is old and the electronics are fragile. Changing the chip might damage your DME as I have read several horror stories on the E28 board.
