Believe it or not, I once set my cruise control at
65 on the PA Turnpike for a couple of hours and
got almost 26 mpg on my 86 635 (auto). However,
I did that only once and will never do so again
for its just too slow. You don't buy a 6 for gas
mileage because their just too much fun to drive!
In fact, if you do get one you'll soon need a
reliable radar detector...
