Subwoofers in a 633, need help. (archive)

I have had subwoofers in my car for about 3 months now. They have never sounded right. In the trunk, they sound muffled and distorted because of the sheet metal between rear seats and trunk. Has anyone else put subd in an e-24? If so, please let me know how and where. I don't really want to cut a hole in anything but if you had to do that please post. Thank you.
