They also rust up very easily, making the door very stiff and heavy to close. Lubrication works for awhile, but ultimately you have to take the hinge off and clean it out or replace it.

The interesting thing is I've seen this condition on a number of 6's that don't have a speck of rust on them elsewhere. Very strange.

: Remove fender to access bolt. Remove door panel to aceess bolt from inside. Why are you replacing the hinge? They're adjustable.
