I have an 85 M6. It had metrics on it when I bought it. As does my 745. I can tell you from personal experience the 16x8 take-offs with ho-hum all-weather Contenentials ($525 for 4 rims+mounted tires)have more grip and ride SOOOOOO much better than the old TRX. Unless you just gotta' have the original stuff, you should consider modern rims and tires. Keep the TRX for show time, but live, drive and ride easier on modern rubber. If you are interested I will send you the rim part numbers. They fit very nicely and keep the "original look" except the brake disks are just a bit more visable.
