Thanks for the information. My moded disca are also from Munich Legends at that price, but the BMW replacements are nearly as expensive. The mileage you mention is a little better than I am getting with the BMW parts, if it isn't a complete cure I aim to try Ferodo DS 2000 pads with the 850i discs next, as I have had good experience with these pads on a competition car (not BMW), they certainly sharpen up the braking which is pretty avarage with the BMW pads.
