I purchased my 89 635Csi in 98 and paid 13000 for a car that included a 4 inch ring binder with sales records, maint/ services and detailed owner history. At the purchase time car had 93273 miles. The car was in Atlanta,GA until 96 and in KC/KS at the present. Blk on Blk and full leather interior and continues to be garage stored. So its hard to place "value" on a collectiable. But I can tell you I sure like opening my garage door and seeing what I have to play with. Drive it you will want to buy it!
