I HAVE A 84 633CSI, THAT I PURCHASED 12/99. MY PROBLEM IS THE FAN CLUTCH PULLEY AND THE HOSE THAT CONNECTS TO BOTTOM PART OF THE THERMOSTAT HOUSING ARE VERY CLOSE! ABOUT 1/4 OF AN INCH OR LESS! WHEN THE HOSE SWELLS JUST A LITTLE, THE HOSE RUBS AGAIN THE PULLEY AND EVENTUALLY WEARS THIN UNTIL IT GETS A HOLE AND THEN NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. CAN SOMEONE LOOK AT THE DISTANCE OF THESE COMPONENTS ON YOUR CAR AND LET ME KNOW HOW MUCH SPACE YOU HAVE BETWEEN THE TWO. MY THOUGHT IS THAT EITHER ONE OR BOTH OF THESE PARTS WERE REPLACED WITH THE WRONG SIZE, BECAUSE I CANT SEE BMW DOING SUCH A MAJOR BLUNDER. THANKS, CLIFF
