The passenger door on my 633csi used to be like that. It would shut, but not all the way, you would hear wind driving down the road, etc. My mechanic put in a "buffer" he called it, cost me 2 or 3 bucks and it shuts much easier. Talk to your mechanic and see if it is the same situation.
