Dinan Engineering did a major service on my M6 at 77k and then the car sat for over 6 months. Shortly after I began to drive the car again it began to misfire badly. The car now has 80k miles.
Dinan Engineering claims that the problem is due to valves out of adjustment and plugs that need to be re-gaped. Is this possible? Can the valves and plugs that they adjusted 3k miles ago be this out of wack just because the car sat for 6 months? Was it a sloppy tune-up to begin with?
My guess is that they haven't found the real mis-fire problem. Just charged me lots of money. Any guesses what the problem might be?
