Whaaahz-zuuup!!!Ahhahah!!!
Here's the deal, the round piece of plastic around the switch for the electric side mirrors unscrew (I assume thats what you are having trouble with!?), then there's the screw on the side of the door where the latch mechinizim is, then the black plastic "rail" on the top portion of the door panel lifts upwards and off. This is the deal with my '77 630csi(U.S.). Hopefully this will help you, if not,hopefully someone else will post a follow-up to help you out; good luck.
