: I am thinking about purchasing an M6. Does anyone have any input about the reliability of these cars? Major problem areas? Is it reasonable to use one as a daily driver? Thanks for the input.

Beware many of these cars have been totaly whored out and you can spend $10,000.00 in suspension brakes front end, rear subframe bushings, cluth, ait conditioning, radiator, alternator, guibo, drive shaft, shift linkage, half shaft rod ends.

I have been their done that, only buy a car with book and records with original drive train, examined by a Master BMW mecahanic! To propperly rebuild a engine and install can run $14,000.00

A nice two owner car, up to date on service is a great daily driver, buy from the ads in the BMW club magazine "The Roundel"
