MAJOR PROBLEM!! Anybody please help (archive)

ok . here is the problem.
There was some static on my stereo,('85 635 CSI antithfet radio) whenever the volume was adjusted. So i wanted to try and fix it. i pulled out the stereo and proceeded to find the problem.(i figured it was just a ground mis-wired) Well, i did not find the problem. when i put the radio back in the antitheft light quit blinking, the radio wont go on, AND the onboard comp. will not light up.!! Of course i checked the fuses and 1 was blown; i replaced the blown fuse and went to see if that worked but no luck. I once again checked the fuses and it blew again. What does this mean.????? the fuse blows eveytime i change it and try to work the radio!!! PLEASE help...
