You are shorting out something this could be dangerous. re-pull the radio,(were any wires pulled on when it came out 1st time?)and put it back the way it was. If then alls alright, you wired something wrong. Be careful I know one person who installing their own radio wrong caused an in-dash fire while driving and did significant damage, fourtunatly it was just a 320i.
