I've owned an '86 635csi for 2 years, and car has been rock-solid. I just took it out from winter storage, and discovered a couple of things that now require fixing.
First, the RR window will go down, but not up. It's normal going down, but I'm hearing a clicking when I try to put the window up. The motor and switch seem OK, but I'm wondering if the regulator is bound or somehow misaligned. With someone working the switch, I can pull the window up as the switch is depressed, and when fully up the window appears to be in it's normal position (no leaks or excessive wind noise. Has anyone else encountered this in their coupes? Any ideas how to fix?
Also, the sunroof slides back, but needs a slight vertical push (lightly!) when I attempt to flip it up. This problem is intermittent, and seems temperature-dependent. Should I lubricate slides and/or pivot points?
Thanks for any help you can provide.
