Instrument Cluster Removal (archive)

I have an 85 Euro 635 with SI batteries that need to be replaced. I'm following the BCG FAQ for removal of instrument cluster and am having no luck with a couple of items:

- How do you remove the fog lamp switch / headlight switch
- How do you remove the check control trim

I cannot seem to pry off the glass cover to the check control display. Could the mounting screws for the check control be accessed from behind after dropping the lower trim panel? I have no clue as to the removal of the fog lamp switch.

Your advice is greatly appreciated.
