cyl head, to rebuild or buy pre-rebuilt? any adv? (archive)

I know I need valve work soon, my 633 sounds like a deisel, but the question i have is whether I should re-build my head, or buy a rebuilt head from elsewhere?
I see that bmp design has rebuilt heads for sale, but has anyone bought one? or heard if they are decent?
any suggestions, or info on where to get one for an '82 633csi would be greatly appreciated...
