I need to replace the auxillary fan resistor on my 84 633 because the aux fan isnt working when I turn the a/c or when the car is idling. I've had this part for months and still I haven't been able to get it on because the phillips head screws that secure the original part are on so darn tight!!!!!!! I've soaked the screws down with P.B blaster and they don't budge! Also, can anyone tell me what length phillips SCREW DRIVER to use,and should I be using a less pointy phillips headscrew driver, because it seems that the problem is that I can't get a good bite on the screw because it appears that the screw driver I have doesnt sit far enought into the srew head, therefore I'm not able to get a good turn on the screw. Do they sell a phillips head screw driver that isnt very pointy? Cliff.
