: Hi I found for sale a 1989 bmw 635csi auto with 103k TRX wheels..AC don't work they (dealer)say they will fix it..nds front break work. The paint looks a little swirly from too many automatic car washes asking $8900.00.

A couple things to look at 1) the exhaust system this is a $800 bill to repair if you do it yourself. 2) motor mounts trans mounts differential mounts and rear sub frame mounts, all rubber that rots over time $1000 to replace them all (you don't want to do it yourself). 3) Shocks and struts Bilsteins will be $500 min. 4) If the front end shakes at 40-60 mph when you brake $900 to replace upper and lower control arms front end alignment. 5) Nobody likes TRX rims ask them for some 16" with rubber another $1000 after market. (that's $4200 to tighten the car up) 6) Finally, short shift kit performance chip, belts and hoses add another $500.
